Earth Day Festival at Yerba Buena Gardens (Saturday)
Celebrate Earth Day at this family-friendly festival, featuring live music, tree planting, chalk art, ice art, carousel rides, and more.
Secondhand Saturday with Sunset Mercantile (Saturday)
Kickoff the new season of Secondhand Saturdays, which happen every third Saturday through November. To celebrate the return, there will be a tie dye station, bracelet making, live music, and more.
“Bug Day” at the Randall Museum (Saturday)
Celebrate everything insect with hands on science and art activities, games, live music, movies, and more. There’s even a bug costume content, so go dressed in your buggy finest!
Celebrate Earth Day at the SF Botanical Garden (Sunday)
Celebrate Earth Day in the Great Meadow with children’s book readings, crafts, and games.
Kids Fest at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell (Sunday)
Head to the park for three hours of family-friendly earthy music with Charity and the JAMband and Melita.
Earth Fest at the SF Zoo (Saturday & Sunday)
Head to the zoo for live entertainment, crafts, and lots of information about conversation projects that the zoo is involved with. Admission to the zoo required.
Weekly Spotlight
It’s National Park Week all week long. Entrance fees to National Parks will be waived on Saturday, and different National Parks will host events and activities all week long.

What we’re up to this weekend.
With so many wonderful celebrations to choose from this weekend, it’s hard to choose! Our little one loves to take the bus to the Botanical Gardens, so we’re leaning towards celebrating that way.
